By downloading, installing, or using Noise Log ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

The accuracy of measurements depends on device hardware, microphone quality, placement, and environmental factors. Results may vary significantly between devices.

If you require legally certified acoustic measurements — for example, for formal court proceedings, insurance claims, or regulatory compliance — you must engage a qualified acoustic engineer or certified measurement service. Noise Log cannot replace such services.
Complaint letter templates are based on publicly available information about noise regulations in supported countries. Laws change frequently. We make no guarantee that templates reflect the most current legal requirements in your specific location. Always verify current regulations with local authorities or legal counsel before filing a formal complaint.
You agree to use Noise Log only for lawful purposes. Specifically, you agree NOT to:
Recording laws vary by country and region. In some jurisdictions, recording conversations without all parties' consent is illegal. Noise Log is intended for recording ambient environmental noise levels — not private conversations. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with all applicable recording laws in your jurisdiction.
Noise Log offers a free tier with limited features as described in the App. No payment is required to use free features.
Pro features require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are available monthly ($7/month) or annually ($39/year) with a 7-day free trial.
Your 7-day free trial begins when you initiate it. You will not be charged until the trial period ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged. Trials are available to new subscribers only — one trial per Google account.
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. Your Google Play account will be charged within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions at any time through Google Play → Subscriptions.
Refund requests are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. For refund requests, contact Google Play support. We may, at our discretion, provide refunds for documented technical issues that prevented you from using the App.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will notify you of price changes at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the subscription after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
The App, including its design, code, complaint letter templates, and all content created by us, is owned by GBApps and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of all data you create using the App — your recordings, incident logs, and generated documents. By using the App, you do not grant us any rights to your content.
You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the App or its content without our express written permission.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GBApps, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
Your use of Noise Log is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (liability limitations, indemnification, intellectual property) will survive.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstallation does not automatically cancel your subscription — cancel through Google Play Subscriptions separately.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
