1. Operator and scope

Noise Log is operated by GBAPPS LLC. Contact mail@gbapps.company for app, purchase-support or privacy questions. These terms describe use of the app and its documentation features. The Privacy Policy describes information handling.

2. What the app does

Noise Log helps you measure environmental sound, save optional audio and incident details, review a noise log, and prepare reports or template letters. Pro tools include new incident reports, complaint templates, PDF/CSV exports and evidence packs. Feature and store availability can vary by platform, version and region.

The iOS version is being prepared and is not yet available on the App Store. Its recording behavior differs from Android: iOS capture stops when the app is backgrounded or the screen locks, and returning does not restart the microphone. Supported Android versions can continue an explicitly started microphone session through a foreground service and notification. Device, operating-system or process interruptions can end a session.

3. Measurements and documents

Sound readings are estimates affected by microphone hardware, placement, calibration and the environment. Noise Log does not certify readings or replace a qualified acoustic assessment. We do not guarantee that a landlord, authority, court or other recipient will accept a reading or report.

Complaint templates and references are informational starting points. Check every name, date, address, level, recipient and current local requirement before sharing a document. Obtain qualified advice when necessary. Noise Log does not automatically file or send a complaint and does not guarantee a response, resolution or legal outcome.

4. Lawful and considerate use

Use the app lawfully and respect other people’s privacy. Check the rules that apply to audio recording in your location, especially where conversations or identifiable people may be captured. Do not use the app to harass others, infringe their rights or present falsified information as evidence.

Choose what you record and share, review your documents and ensure you have the rights or permissions needed for that use.

5. Free features and Pro purchases

Core measurement, audio saving and viewing/deletion of saved data are available without a Pro purchase in the current app. Pro actions require verified access. The current Pro offer is a one-time, non-consumable purchase rather than an automatically renewing subscription. This offer has no subscription trial. Check the exact product, availability and local price shown by the relevant store before buying.

Apple App Store handles iOS store transactions when available; Google Play handles Android store transactions. RevenueCat helps validate and restore purchases and manage access. Purchase, restoration or entitlement checks may require a network connection. Use Restore Purchases with the relevant store account when needed; a purchase is not a promise of transfer between different stores.

If you hold an older product or subscription, check its store receipt and subscription settings for the applicable terms. Uninstalling does not cancel a legacy subscription. Refund requests follow the relevant store’s procedures and applicable rights; contact us if you need help locating the correct support route. These terms do not promise a migration, refund, future feature or perpetual operation of a service.

6. Local records and sharing

Your recordings, measurements and generated reports are stored locally on your device. Noise Log does not upload your recordings to a company recording server. Purchase services, optional geocoding, support, chosen share destinations and device backups are separate, as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Manage your own device, backups and shared copies. Removing local data or uninstalling does not retract files already exported or shared. The app does not provide a separate cloud backup of your recordings through a Noise Log account.

7. Availability and your rights

Errors, interruptions, storage limits, store availability and system changes can affect the app. Do not rely on it as an emergency service, safety alarm, professional sound-level instrument or substitute for specialist advice. Check that a recording or export was saved successfully before relying on it.

Nothing here is intended to remove consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
